Full Service INTERIOR DESIGN
Our specialist service transforms your home into a fully furnished, beautifully considered space that feels complete from the moment you walk through the door.
Perfect for those starting afresh, relocating, or downsizing, we create cohesive interiors that bring those unexpected details and personality to every room.
From concept through to completion, we oversee the design journey, specifying furnishings, decoration, sourcing furniture, lighting and accessories and coordinating with your appointed contractors to help ensure the design is implemented as intended.
The result is an expressively layered home, ready to be enjoyed from the moment you turn the key.
The Process
A considered, structured approach where every detail — from space planning to materials, finishes and furnishings — is carefully developed to ensure a cohesive and beautifully resolved interior.
From concept through to completion, we provide creative direction and detailed design planning, guiding the process and working alongside your appointed contractors to realise the vision of your home.
Stage 01
Getting to Know You & YOUr Home
Understanding your space, your lifestyle, and your vision
Every project begins with a relaxed in-depth consultation in your home to get to you know you.
We’ll walk through your space, review any plans, and talk through how you live and what you’re drawn to. This stage forms a clear brief and establishes the direction for your project.
Please note: An up-front consultation fee of £700 applies for this visit.
Stage 02
Shaping the Vision
Exploring ideas, layouts, and creative direction
This is where things start to get exciting. We explore layouts, colour palettes, materials, and overall style, looking at different ways your space could come together.
It’s a collaborative stage where ideas are tested, refined, and sometimes pushed a little further — all to create a direction that feels true to you and full of personality.
Nothing is set in stone just yet; this is about exploring possibilities and shaping a vision you’re excited about.
Stage 03
Refining the Design
Developing a complete and considered scheme
At this stage, your design is developed in full detail.
We refine layouts and create technical drawings, alongside specifying furniture, lighting, materials, artwork, accessories and any other decor and finishes. Every element is carefully considered to ensure the design works as a cohesive whole.
By the end of this stage, your scheme is fully defined and ready to be brought to life.
Stage 04
Bringing Your Home to Life
Installation and final detailing
We remain closely involved during all stages of your project, providing design guidance to support the implementation of your approved scheme.
We liaise with your appointed contractors, where required, to ensure the design intent is understood and realised as envisaged.
We coordinate the ordering and delivery of all aspects from furniture, lighting and accessories, decoration to window treatments that FORM have sourced, supporting a smooth transition to you moving in.
Each element is carefully placed and styled, from larger furnishings through to the final decorative details that bring the scheme together.
The result is a completed home, thoughtfully shaped the FORM way, and ready for you to move into and enjoy.
Please note that every project is unique, and the overall timeline will depend on the size of your home and the complexity of the design and works involved.
We will keep you updated as your project progresses through each stage. A more defined timeline is typically established at Stage 03, once lead times for selected items are confirmed and the design direction has been fully developed.
At this point, we are able to provide a clearer understanding of sequencing and delivery based on the agreed design scheme and product availability.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
If you’re renovating, moving or starting afresh, and want to work with someone who’ll help you embrace colour, pattern and texture, then – yes! However, we totally understand that hiring an interior designer is an investment you won’t want to take lightly. If you’re still on the fence, you can book a free discovery call with Alice to go over your project and see what we can do for you.
-
If you just need non-fixed furnishings, we’d recommend starting our work together at a minimum of 12 weeks before you’d like to move in. This gives us time to really nail your scheme and then juggle the lead times for the products we’re ordering, with a little “just in case” wiggle room worked in too.
Any structural work or fixed furnishings that are part of your project (whether that’s with us or not) will require more lead time, with the exact amount depending on what it is you’re having done.
In any case, please do get in touch as soon as you can, as we’re often booked up in advance!
-
Your budget will depend on the size of your space, and we’re just as happy working to a £50k budget for a one-bedroom apartment as we are on large five-bedroom family homes with a £300k budget.
Please note: The above budgets are based on homes that just need FF&E (fixtures, fittings & equipment) i.e. all the items that go into an interiors project that are not part of the structure of the building. Any bespoke joinery, tiling, fitted kitchens and bathrooms and other fixed furnishings would require higher budgets.
-
Each design we do is unique to the individual and so our design fees naturally reflect this. For a full home, the average fees range between £15k–50k depending on the size of your property and what you require us to do.
-
We work best with a completely blank canvas, where we source all the products for you. However, we totally get that you may have a key piece that holds a lot of sentimental value, in which case we can absolutely work that into your scheme. We only ask that you provide us with photos and measurements of any existing pieces you’d like us to work with during your initial consultation.
-
Yes – we work with clients who are purchasing property in the UK regardless of where they’re currently based.
-
Yes, our process is very hands-on! We would have multiple in-person meetings before the project is signed off, complete with paint and fabric samples so you can see and feel what you’re getting before anything is ordered. The install would then be carried out by an expert team with Alice present to make sure everything goes smoothly.
-
Yes – we have a number of contractors and architects we can introduce you to, should your project require it.
We will remain closely involved during all stages of your project, liaising with your appointed contractors, to ensure the design intent is understood and realised as envisaged.
Please note, while we can co-ordinate your project to help you manage the many spinning plates, you will have direct contracts with each contractor, and pay them directly.
