The Room renewal

Whether you’re looking for a full kit-out of new furniture, accessories and artwork, all the way up to new flooring or a fully fitted new kitchen or bathroom, we can bring the FORM style to your home, one room at a time.

We find this offering is perfect for those who want to tackle one room, rather than undertake a whole-home project. We can help with everything from bringing flow to open-plan kitchens and living spaces, through to designing the cosiest bedrooms, the most relaxing bathrooms and all the way to making your entrance hall the opening spectacle of your home.

The Process

A clear, structured process where every element — from space planning through to materials, finishes and furnishings — is carefully considered and managed.

From concept to completion, we combine creative direction with detailed planning to deliver a fully managed experience.

Stage 01
Getting to Know Your room

Understanding your space, your lifestyle, and your vision

Every project begins with a relaxed in-depth consultation in your home.

We’ll walk through your room, review any plans, and talk through how you use and what you’re drawn to. This stage forms a clear brief and establishes the direction for your project.

Please note: An up-front consultation fee of £500 applies for this visit.

Stage 02
Shaping the Vision

Exploring ideas, layouts, and creative direction

This is where things start to get exciting. We explore layouts, colour palettes, materials, and overall style, looking at different ways your room could come together.

It’s a collaborative stage where ideas are tested, refined, and sometimes pushed a little further — all to create a direction that feels true to you and full of personality.

Nothing is set in stone just yet; this is about exploring possibilities and shaping a vision you’re excited about.

Stage 03
Refining the Design

Developing a complete and considered scheme

At this stage, your design is developed in full detail.

We refine the layout and create technical drawings, alongside specifying furniture, lighting, materials, artwork, accessories and any other decor and finishes. Every element is carefully considered to ensure the design works as a cohesive whole.

By the end of this stage, your scheme is fully defined and ready to be brought to life.

Stage 04
Bringing Your room to Life

Managing installation and final details

We manage the full implementation of your design, coordinating contractors (sourced by us if the project calls for any), orders and deliveries to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Each element is installed with care, from larger joinery pieces through to final styling details that complete the space.

The result is a fully renewed room that feels considered, personal and ready to be lived in.

Please note, every project is unique and the overall timeline of your project will depend on the room you’re working on and the complexity of the work that needs doing. We’ll keep you updated on the timeline as we go through the stages, but we’ll have a more concrete idea of how long it will all take at Stage 03; once we know the lead times of the selected products and have narrowed down exactly what we’re going to do to transform your room.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you want to work with someone who’ll help you embrace colour, pattern and texture, and a down-to-earth guiding hand to bring it all together, then – yes! However, we totally understand that hiring an interior designer is an investment you won’t want to take lightly. If you’re still on the fence, you can book a free discovery call with Alice to go over your project and see what we can do for you.

  • If you just need non-fixed furnishings, we’d recommend starting our work together at a minimum of 12 weeks before you want the work completed. This gives us time to really nail your scheme and then juggle the lead times for the products we’re ordering, with a little “just in case” wiggle room worked in too.

Any structural work or fixed furnishings that are part of your project (whether that’s with us or not) will require more lead time, with the exact amount depending on what it is you’re having done.

In any case, please do get in touch as soon as you can, as we’re often booked up in advance!

  • We work best with a completely blank canvas, where we source all the products for you. However, we totally get that you may have a key piece that holds a lot of sentimental value, in which case we can absolutely work that into your scheme. We only ask that you provide us with photos and measurements of any existing pieces you’d like us to work with during your initial consultation.

  • Yes, our process is very hands-on! We would have multiple in-person meetings before the project is signed off, complete with paint and fabric samples so you can see and feel what you’re getting before anything is ordered. The install would then be carried out by an expert team with Alice present to make sure everything goes smoothly.

  • Yes! For example, if you’re knocking through from your living room into your dining room, we can make sure both rooms work well together. The same goes for any combination of rooms, and we can discuss your specific needs in your initial consultation.

  • Absolutely! In fact, we find that most clients already have their contractors in place before contacting us, and we’re more than happy to work alongside them to bring your room together.

However, we can also more comprehensive service, where we manage the full process, working closely with our own trusted contractors and suppliers, so all you need to do is open the door and start enjoying your renewed space.

START YOUR PROJECT

Interior design is a collaborative process, shaped around you and your room.

Whether you’re working on a one-off room that needs a little love, or tackling a bigger vision one room at a time, we’ll guide the project from initial ideas through to completion, ensuring every stage is carefully managed to make your room feel fully renewed.

Every project is tailored, so we begin with an initial conversation and a visit to your home. From there, we’ll prepare a clear proposal outlining the scope, design approach and associated fees.
